Patient FAQ

Q: Can I subscribe to ePhysio without consulting a medical professional?
A: No. To ensure you gain the most benefit from your exercise program it is essential that your injury or condition is diagnosed correctly and that your exercsie program is prescribed specifically for you by your health professional.

Q: Will I be able to view the videos?
A: Please refer to the system requirements and check with your computer specifications.

Q: What can I do if I cannot view the videos or register with ePhysio?
A: Please ensure that Javascript is enabled. Below are instructions on how to enable it across various browsers.

Navigator 3.x

  • Go to "Options | Network Preferences..." from the main menu
  • Change to the "Languages" tab
  • To enable: make sure "Enable JavaScript" check box is checked
  • Restart the browser

Communicator 4.x

  • Go to "Edit | Preferences..." from the main menu
  • Select "Advanced" panel
  • To enable: make sure "Enable JavaScript" check box is checked.
  • Restart the browser

Explorer 4.x and below

  • Go to "View | Internet Options..." from the main menu
  • Change to the "Security" tab
  • Select "Custom" and click on the "Settings..." button
  • To enable: make sure "Enable" is selected under "Active scripting"
  • Restart the browser

Internet Explorer 6.x and above

  • On your browser's menu bar, select Tools and Internet options
  • Select the Advanced tab.
  • Make sure the check box next to 'JIT compiler for virtual machine enabled' is checked. You can find it under the Microsoft VM heading. If it is not, check the box and click apply.
  • Restart the browser.

Q: Can I save my exercise program to my computer?
A: No, these videos are viewed on demand.

Q: Can I update my exercise program as my referrer changes my program?
A: Yes, you can continue to customise your exercise program throughout your subscription.

Q: I only have a dial-up internet connection, can I still view your videos?
A: Internet users with speeds of 36k or higher will be able to view our video content. Internet users with speeds of 115k or higher benefit by seeing a larger video picture with better picture clarity

Q: Can my referrer access and view my self assessment results?
A: Yes, by use of the Client ID number your referrer can check your self assessment results and view which exercises you have selected to view. No other referrer has access to this information.

Q: Can I communicate with my referrer via the ePhysio site.
A: Yes, when you complete the Subjective Feedback Form simply select Send Feedback To My Referrer

Q: How many megabytes will I use to watch 1 hour of streamed video?
A: ePhysio broadband @ 115kbits/sec: 1 hour will use approximately 50 megabytes
ePhysio medium @ 37kbits/sec: 1 hour will use approximately 16 megabytes

Q: What if I'd like to do another program?
A: As an ePhysio member your account will stay active. You will need another prescribed exercise program from your referrer which provides you with the necessary Client ID# to subscribe again.
